Help us accelerate the transition to agroforestry through digital technology! You will join an impact based organization, dedicated to changing the world of agriculture and forestry. Regen Farmer is developing agroforestry planning and project development software for farmers, agricultural advisors, researchers and agrobusinesses. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is interested in joining our software team, with a focus on crop modeling.Â
Tasks
This is an incredibly exciting time to join the company. There’s a lot of work to be done on developing and improving models that can deliver reliable insights and decision support for our customers working with agroforestry projects.Â
Here are some things you will be working on:Â
- Development of crop models for agroforestry systems
- Development of environmental models – Farm scale ghg LCA models i.e.
- Model validation and calibration.
- Data gathering, including some field work.
- Participation in international research and development projects
You should have
- Experience with crop models.
- Experience with agroforestry specific models is a plus.Â
- Experience with calibration and validation of models.
- As a remote first company, 90% of our communication is written. So you must be a strong writer. That means you’re able to communicate ideas, arguments and project specifications clearly and concisely.

Requirements
Experience:
- BSc/MSc in environmental science, agronomy, agricultural engineer or equivalent experience
- Experience in senior positionÂ
